- What you pay directly
- Consultations and tests are paid directly, with an invoice issued so you can claim reimbursement from your insurer.
- Fee
- $1,500 MXN, electrocardiogram included
Why what you bring matters
An electrocardiogram from three years ago is not old paper: it is the only way to know whether something changed. A change in the tracing can mean the opposite of the same tracing with nothing to compare it to.
The same goes for medicines. The list with doses avoids two things: repeating a drug you already take under another name, and blaming the heart for a symptom that is really a side effect.
If you are coming for something that comes and goes
Before the visit, write down what time of day it appears, how long it lasts, what you were doing and what made it stop. Three or four episodes written down are worth more than a general description, and sometimes they are what decides whether the right test is an electrocardiogram or a Holter monitor.
What this visit is not
This visit is not an emergency service. Chest pain that does not ease, sudden shortness of breath or a fainting episode are handled in an emergency department, not by waiting for an appointment.
